About the CCTV Integration Hackathon

The CCTV Integration Hackathon is a challenge-driven innovation program focused on unified CCTV integration and smart monitoring. It is organized by the Home Department, Government of Gujarat, and invites participants to solve practical public-sector monitoring and infrastructure problems through open source technology. The hackathon spans software and system-design use cases, and encourages scalable, secure, deployment-ready solutions.

Core objectives

The hackathon aims to encourage participants to create innovative systems that can support centralized visibility, interoperability, control-room efficiency, scalable integration, and advanced analytics for CCTV ecosystems. Across the four models, the focus areas include inventory management, GIS visualization, stream unification, vendor-agnostic integration, centralized monitoring, and AI-enabled insights.

Choose your challenge

Participants can choose more than one problem statements. Each model addresses a different layer of the CCTV integration stack, from registry and mapping to operational monitoring, middleware federation, and centralized analytics. Participants should choose based on their technical strengths, product approach, and interest area.
