About the CCTV Integration Hackathon
The CCTV Integration Hackathon is a challenge-driven innovation program focused on unified CCTV integration and smart monitoring. It is organized by the Home Department, Government of Gujarat, and invites participants to solve practical public-sector monitoring and infrastructure problems through open source technology. The hackathon spans software and system-design use cases, and encourages scalable, secure, deployment-ready solutions.
Core objectives
The hackathon aims to encourage participants to create innovative systems that can support centralized visibility, interoperability, control-room efficiency, scalable integration, and advanced analytics for CCTV ecosystems. Across the four models, the focus areas include inventory management, GIS visualization, stream unification, vendor-agnostic integration, centralized monitoring, and AI-enabled insights.
